I know there is free printing in the 3rd floor of biochem building, but I cant really print there....

So anyone know any places at uni where there is free printing?

The entire computer/internet policy at USyd is incredibly shit, they cap your internet at some ridiculously small amount so that you can browse about 3 websites before you're kicked off. I had to have credit to print off at Fisher, ok fine so I go to the counter thing and pay "oh no, we don't cake cash". WTF, only here would it be considered crazy to actually pay for something with money.
That being said, I think Carslaw labs do from memory, but I might have used my friends account to print it off, can't remember

Carslaw labs charge for printing. IT students get a page allocation of around 100 pages per semester.

maybe somewhere really obscure that real human beings dont go, like the engineering buildings or something? otherwise i dunno.
i'm trying to avoid usyd's weirdo printing/computer policies. i used a computer in fisher to type + print an assignment once because my own computer had packed it in, and i use the photocopiers, but that's it. i prefer systems that use normal logic (like the money thing bazookajoe said...oh gasp, coins, how will they ever cope...)

3rd level of the chemistry builiding in the reading room. There's free printing there.

lol. i was about to suggest levels 3 and 5 of the chemistry building. Go into the labs and just quickly start up a pc, print off your stuff and get out of there before a crusty old chemistry lecturer busts you

For every IT subject you're enrolled in (INFO, COMP, ISYS etc), you get 225 pages of free printing from any of the IT labs (Carslaw, bottom level of Madsen, School of IT building).

Least I think that's how it works. I had 450 pages last semester and did 2 subjects run by the IT department, my friend did one subject and had like half as much or something.

The trick is to enrol in as many IT subjects as possible, then withdraw a week into semester.

I don't know if its still the case, but if you print wirelessly downstairs in the Economics & Business building, it used to be free.

his name started with "E" for sure, he was asian and wore glasses (this probably describes 95% of chem demos though)
