Hello,

Quick question: if I major in French at a different university (Macquarie), is it possible to do 4th year honours at Sydney?

Yes, you should be able to do your Honours year at Sydney instead, though I'm not the best authority on this. Whether or not you'd need to complete the pre-honours units, I don't know. Check out this site, and get in touch with the French honours co-ordinator below

thank you i got a (super fast) reply from ms royer and she said it shouldn't be a problem as long as i qualify to study for honours at macquarie and have a credit average. i mean this is in 3 years but i'm still excited, honours french looks really interesting!
