I'm just wondering how many related materials would we have to use for Frontline?

You need at least one, however most people do 2. No more than 2 is necessary

I'm only doing one self selected though.

I just went through about three pages of past questions we got in class, and about half of them ask for at least two.
Others just say "and other related texts of your choosing"
I would definitely say do two, because if you only have one prepared you'll be screwed if they ask for two.

The HSC questions from 2002 to 2006 have all asked for two related texts of your own choosing.

Doing a newspaper article "How they fixed the heroin trials" and an episode of "Yes, Minister"

DEFINATELY do two.

"Other related texts" Means two or more. Hence the plural.

My teacher had given me two articles but I was thinking of finding my own..

how should I go about looking for ones myself? I tried searching truth or something over the internet but was unsuccesful.

Our trials asked for two and im preparing three cos i always get screwed over when it comes to related texts. I'm doing "Catch me if you can", an article, a short story and am considering a poem i found which has about two techniques as a backup.
