Whats the diff? Cos if they ask something like this in the exam, im screwed because, all i know is that:

Functions return a value by setting the value its self, whereas procedures return the value through parameters.

So any help would be grealty appreciated.

You are pretty much right. Functions return values, procedures just execute a task - they don't return values.

thats probably it if they dont ask what they did in CSSA 2003 paper (5 marks on functions)
