Oh well, one final hurrah for the Senate inquiry process, I guess.

I wish I could say Im suprised but Im not.

After all why should they send money to regional NSW when the majority of it is safe seats for the coalition.

After all skate parks in crucial seats are more important then some basic infrastructure in some safe seats.

Because it's meant to be a regional grants scheme, not a means of dishing out the pork.

I know that it is a case of grants following on from submissions, but such figures do make you wonder.

Edit: Your edit... You always seem so serious, but it seems as though you can make a sarcastic remark from time to time .

Well you won't really have many regional councils applying for money for a swimming pool if the roads to get there aren't really driveable on or there isn't any access to medical services.

Edit: Yes I understand that these are councils/state responsibilities, but the idea that a regional council wont apply for a skate park when other things need the money more urgently still stands.
