in other words: r u geo or history or socially orientated?

Im more into social and then a mix of geo/history.

I love learning about the history of places...I always go to the museums and old cathedrals, but then I love history. I always make a point of sampling local dishes, and try to obey cultural conventions...such as if in a muslim country, dont wear short sleeves etc. I'm a guest in their country after all

ive always wanted to go into a war torn country- thats why i added chechnya, and coz i hear the ppl there are soo courteous- i should check it out myself !

I like meeting local people first and foremost... when I went to Berlin with my mum, we went around all the historic sites. Very interesting and cultural, but I had a better time when I went with my friends for the weekend and we met a group of friendly local guys at the pub. Ended up getting kicked out at 4am cause it was closing and wandering around looking for a taxi and trying to remember the name of the street our youth hostel was on... Great night.

Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Greece, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Gibraltar and of course Oz have been ticked off the list... although I definately intend to head back to the first 6 sometime.

i'm just curious as to why germany made the top of ur list?
i went there last year for a wedding but i don't think otherwise we would have gone there... just want to know its appeal besides being in europe

I don't really know ... i did a tourism assignment for it and i had to research the country and it seemed like such an interesting country to visit.

Plus, who could resist oktoberber fest in munich? I would love to go to that. And travelling on autobahns sounds like fun.

Its just a country which has something special about it ... i don't know what it is ... but i'm sure that its different that what i imagine it to be.

oh yeah oktober fest how could i forget?
i was on a family trip so didn't get to experience things like that

autobahns are awsome we did 220 km per hour
and still had ppl flashing their lights at us coz we were to slow
