hey is anyone in the same situation with me where their total 4 unit assessment mark is higher than their 3 unit assessment mark... bcoz teachers are not allowed to reveal what students total assessment marks are... he gave me a range estimate i had to figure out.

80-90 in 3 unit
85-90 4 unit

i know i prob got 83% for 3 unit maths and 85% for 4 unit...
these marks are scaled btw

i dont see whats surprising abt the 4u mark being higher than 3u ....
my 4u (in hsc) was 94, n 3u was 91

yes.... prolly not and i havent got a scanner

im in the same boat as newbie... there was a common concensus that the 3U was harder than the 4U trials

the only way i'd be surprised was if the raw 4u mark was higher than 3u. with the way that scaling works, most people who do well at maths would probably end up with higher scaled marks for 4u...

i think its some mental thing
like people take 4unit seriously and brush 3unit off
so they end up spending most of the time on 4unit and stuff up 3unit
