as someone who has now done them both i seriously regret picking them both for the hsc unless your super interested in the syllabus for both years there is geniunely no point ur love and interest for history in year 10 will be greatly diminished as u will realise it is nothing like year10 and if u love it sm pick one and then do extension in yr12

nah if you are good at history go for both, if you do well it is a huge atar booster. and @Socialism you will be fine, history ext is fun and chill (most of the time)

i was good unless you have the most goated teachers and focus areas that you enjoy so much to be able to do good but besides that there’s no point

if you love it a lot go for it but i love it too and i genuinely think there was no point having both
