Gay people should not be allowed to Silver Persian, IMHO.
This argument does not prove why kids should not be raised in gay families, as it does not point out anything intrinsically wrong with gay families, it simply uses the law to justify the morality of this issue, which contains the suppressed premise that the law is inherently right and neverchanging.Perfect reasons as to why they shouldn't be allowed to have kids..... coz then the kids have no rights!! ^^^^
The law is right. If it's not right, then we can rise up and revolt because there's nothing to stop us. So off you go, rise up and revolt, with your casual disregard for the law. This argument does not prove why kids should not be raised in gay families, as it does not point out anything intrinsically wrong with gay families, it simply uses the law to justify the morality of this issue, which contains the suppressed premise that the law is inherently right and neverchanging.
The fact that they're educated enough to talk about the experience shows that they're better off as they are.Hmm. So the law that said it was okay to take away Aboriginal children was 'right', was it?
Exactly epic man. Seeings as the majority of Australia believes in the current laws we have, we can't change them due to our system of government. Yet people like HumanDicolostomybag think that we should impose some sort of dictatorship where we change laws based on the whim of the ruler (which in this case would be HumanDiChlamydia).Um...how?
I'm not sure if you're a troll. The law is right. If it's not right, then we can rise up and revolt because there's nothing to stop us. So off you go, rise up and revolt, with your casual disregard for the law.
Rise in support for gay marriageExactly epic man. Seeings as the majority of Australia believes in the current laws.
Hmm. Now, I don't know about you, but I would take '3 in 5' as being the majority....Three in five Australians support same-sex marriage, according to a new survey
Wahoo!HD is right. Democracy is based on the massive fallacy that is an appeal to majority. The fact that the majority of the population believes X does not make X true or ethical.
It's just that we haven't found a better way to deal with the issue of government.
And, in this case, it's not even a majority opinion, as outlined by my previous post.HD is right. Democracy is based on the massive fallacy that is an appeal to majority. The fact that the majority of the population believes X does not make X true or ethical.

Good pointAnd, in this case, it's not even a majority opinion, as outlined by my previous post.
we do care about gay rights.... and we have given rights to gays.. so whats the issue..Laws are defined by society. If society really cared about gay rights etc, then the government would be forced to change these laws due to public pressure. This is how a democracy works fool...
The issue is that they shouldn't have to have been "given" rights in the first place, and as it stands they still don't have enough rights, so shut the fuck up .we do care about gay rights.... and we have given rights to gays.. so whats the issue..
