I thought the paper was pretty decent except section 1 grrr... but anyways, the questions fitted my story and essay pretty well, just hoping i've answered the question

section 1 - 13/15 (worse part of the paper, completely made up everything)
section 2 - 14/15 (15/15 in the trial, adapted pretty well to the question)
section 3 - 14/15 (mark I got in every exam I've used it)

Argh...not looking forward to monday, modules are gonna kill me!

paper 2 = evil

My stuff suited Section II and III okay, but section I was a load of shit.

The comparison part in part f) was especially hard.

Probably hoping for 35/45.

Am I the only person who liked Text three in section 1?! Hahaha, overall Section 1 wasn't too bad.

Physical journeys essay q wasn't too bad either. I had different interpretations of the word 'detours,' so it was definitely better than I expected! I liked the question :)

Didn't have time to finish my creative properly. I would have liked to reinforce my journey at the end of it, but blehh. I had this really good analogy that I wanted to use too! ... but I pent too much time on essay ><"

you can try, but the chances of guessing correctly are fairy small to begin with, and then aligning kicks in.

Share your thoughts and opinions of the 2007 English AOS exam.

What aspects of the paper did you like and dislike? Did you consider it a fair test of your abilities?
Overall, how did you go and how did you find the exam as a whole?
I liked the essay question. Fitted in with what i had studied for Away really well. Anything else and i would have been screwed.

Hated the quotes and it was possibly the worst piece of creative writing ever, lol.

i actually thought the essay question was good for physical journeys i found it suited our study of the topic perfectly esspecially for Away, and ulnike most of you i found text three a much easier text to decipher than text two, all in all i think it was a fairly good paper and for someone who is as bad at english as me to say that it must have been alrght. Then again i didnt have any pressure on me as my UAI is not required.

I did the tempest too and I thought that that question was easy because imaginative journeys always go to diferent places? I interpreted the unexpected destinations as being both literal because of the weird creatures like water sprites and as an inner resolution because prospero shipwrecked them for revenge but unexpectedly forgave them? I hope that was ok lol

english was 'normal'

the essay was the easiest to write and adapt to question.

had to cut my story short (even though my story is very crappy) - im sorta relying on the others who do standard in my grade to do well and beat me, so that the average is ok. but overall i think i did well
