what was the financial expectation? i put $3.50, but i think it was $1, therefore elise loses $4 per game?
So what did you get for the whole question, i) ii) and iii) please? You had to use alternate angles to find the 55 degree angle, and the Sine Rule to Find ACB then add the ACD, 55 and 180...I got 261
I don't go General but I bet it was pretty easy.......................

2: A 9: C 16: D
3: B 10: A 17:C
4: C 11: B 18 :B
5: B 12: A 19:C

I cant be sure, but I thought it said (something along the lines of): the machanic gets paid double time for 4 hours minimum on emergency calls REGARDLESS of whether he actually worked for 4 hours. The question asked us to calculate the total pay a mechanic receives when he works 40 hours @ $22.35/hour, plus a special allowance of 150/week and double time for 'emergency hours'. However, it states that he only receives the double time when he works for a minimum of 4 hours. It states that he works for 5 hours on one emergency occasion and 1.5 on another thus the double time on 1.5 would not be counted,Thus, many people were getting the answer '1267.5' however it was not provided in the options. I would like to know how people found the real answer
at least they're not as bad as those people who have finished their HSC, got their results and still visit this siteomg arent you guys freaking out.. why are you going over it? It's done! forever! stop thinking about it already!
Thanks Karen, good inputi got $1.50 ... dont think its right though :/ for the financial expectation question
For angle B I got 59 + 55For Q24ci) I used alternate angles to find that the angle B was 59 +75. So the bearing of C from B was 075degrees. For ii) i used to cosine rule to find AC and for iii) i believe i ended up with 75+180.
pussykent your sig kills my eyes,Thanks Karen, good input
whoops i mean 55 not 75. What did u get for iii) then?For angle B I got 59 + 55
I estimate i got around 15/22 for multiple choice ;\how did everyone go at multiple choice?
302pussykent your sig kills my eyes,
What did everyone get for q23 (ii) How many sticks would be required for figure 100?? :/
You win.at least they're not as bad as those people who have finished their HSC, got their results and still visit this site
Answer was D 1440 something, the 1.5 was suppose to work out to 4 anyway as it was minimum 4 hours for a call outWhoops! I thought it said that "the minimum he gets for a emergency is 4-hours double time", regardless of the length. I believe he did an emergency for 1.5hours (4-hours minimum) and 5 hours, so i did a total of 9hours at double time for emergencies. Then i added the $150 and the $894. I think i got D for that question then.
