So what did you get for the whole question, i) ii) and iii) please?
i) pretty sure it is 55
ii) I can't remember but it is just the Cosine rule using the sides given (6 and 9) and using the C which is 114 degrees to find AC
iii) I got 261 degrees

whoops i mean 55 not 75. What did u get for iii) then?
It added up to i think 260 degrees 35 which rounded up to 261 degrees im pretty sure...it depends whether you used the exact number in the Sin Rule or if you just used 13

How did you get your answer?
I added 180+31
=211degrees
:s
sorry i meant between 259-262, it depended if you used 12.6 or 13 for the length of AC, which was found in 24 C) ii.

To get the answer you have to use the sine rule to find the angle ACB, then add 55 (interior angles and parallel lines) and 180 to get an answer between 259 and 262.

what was the financial expectation? i put $3.50, but i think it was $1, therefore elise loses $4 per game?
I think if you look back at the question sheet jakeantoun you will find that there was a cost of $5 to play the game, thus, you must subtract $5 from the original gain of $3.50 to get an answer of: expect to lose $1.50.

pfft how can you call yourself the boss? "(i.e. the correct ones)"
doing general maths does not make you any better than people doing general mathematics. don't talk down on us.
^ Exemplary example of a G-Unit lad. I didn't realise that General Mathematics did not make you any better than people doing General Mathematics.

I do 4 unit, what's up?

How did you guys find Bizo's?

yeah the expectation was 3.50, but then u subtract it from 5 and you get $1.50 loss per game.
i got that answer joe

Argh; This thread made me realise I did the financial expectation bit all wrong D:

I knew my answer seemed seriously wrong :/

And a stupid mistake of not reading the question properly on 20 also makes me lose a mark :(

What did everybody put for 25) a) I to IV? Everybody at my school was really confused because we only spent a lesson on these style of things and nobody really understood :(
