Re: What did you think?

Dat test screwed me over hard...i lost about 40 marks...but yeh i agree that time was an issue not the hardness of the questions

Re: What did you think?

I thought it was difficult.

The thing I think that was unusual was that generally each question you do it gets more and more difficult. But I would say a lot (bar like 7 and 8) were of similar difficulty (which would be about question 5 difficulty).

Also there was loads of 3u stuff (as someone said before me).

That said, when I glanced at the paper after I was sort of a bit like "oh I did get that out, yeh i got that one" so I think i did ok I guess.

Re: What did you think?

yeh it was a really tough paper, even the integration in question one (though very doable) was harder than usual. and the mechanics in q7 was a lot of work for the marks..

Re: What did you think?

It was terrible. Questions 1 and 2 were great, except some of those inetgrals were really difficult.

I attempted parts of Questions 3 to 5 and left the last 3 blank.

I left 30 mins early, I just couldn't do anymore. My brain was going crazy.

Re: What did you think?

For danfloyd11 vbmenu_register("postmenu_3857612", true); , what i wrote b is water resistance . . . well cant think of anything else other then that.

I calculated that i will get in the range of 71/120 - 91/120 LOL , pretty big difference there, its the highest and lowest that i expected.

Hope thats a E4 man ~~~~ Question 6 - 8 owned me bad, i reckon i will get like 10/45 to 15/45 . . . just suck

lol. I read the question twice, and still had no idea what it was talking about and left it out.

So I went back and checked over my paper (which was worthwhile seeing as I think I got about 12 marks from checking over).

Re: What did you think?

assuming maximum generousity with the marker ill do considerably better, 80.

I guessed 1:1:1, I didn't actually do the question, just wrote something down in hope that it might be right.

Re: What did you think?

I said it was the velocity of the current. Don't really have any idea though

The exam was quite strange. I think it will be my worst mark in a long time. But, as cruel as this may seem, it's comforting to hear that others found it difficult as well. There were parts of every single question that I couldn't do.

Judging by the perceived difficulty of the exam, and by other people's reactions, would anyone care to take a stab at what they think the raw band E3/E4 cut-off will be? I'm thinking maybe 77-ish?
