the course handbook isnt too great for checking empty spots since they only update something like once a day. in my experience it's best to go to the my.unsw website and use the swap function to check. this way you can quickly change if there's a spot and you won't lose your original time if there isn't.

Can't you just ask course admin for a swap?

Some of those dudes can override myunsw and whateva else you use to enrol in courses.

problem is I don't know who is in that class :/

What makes me a bit mad is that there is two tut in the same time spot and the one I want is full while the other one still have some spots left. Wish I could contact someone to swap the spot with me...

Thats Engineering Week - it co-incides with Week Zero, but has nothing to do with the mid-year 'O-week'.

Library you need to get there at 8am when it opens. Then you can find a desk and pretty much have it until midnight. That is, if you want to study that hardcore (which I have done in the past. omg, never again. Even after that I only managed a D).
