Ooh. You guys have to suffer in that IT communications subject. BTW In previous years, you only did that subject if you failed the english test that they gave us in the beginning of the semester.
Well actually this subject is different. The "Advanced Communications in IT" (if you failed the English test subject) mainlt focused on improviding verbal and written communication skills, whereas this subject is more than that. I haven't seen the subject outline and stuff...but it covers the IT ethics stuff required the ACS, replacing the material covered in the old final year subject, IT Professional and Society.

This is a problem why?

EDIT: Oh my God. I think the engineering department is messing with me, and I'm being hugely messed with. GO TEAM BRAIN.

I'll be wandering around places, mostly stay in the glasshouse.

its not a problem, i just assumed everyone in the lecture would be doing the same degree. apparently not. it makes the room full to the brim thats for sure

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Start of Autumn Semester' Thread

Is anyone else having trouble accessing the lecture notes for CGE?
I can only access the introductory one while the others have "expired". lol the annoying thing is, for monday's lecture i was taking notes and only stopped because the lecturer said they would be online.

another piece of advice for people doing CGE, try a first paper... even ask a demonstrator for practise questions. the final exam caught me off guard

try aut2005 past paper:

yes this is the best way to go, get to know those papers, mine last year had questions taken from all of those papers, its a bitch of a subject but easily passable except when it comes to the final, so focus on those past papers.
