Lol.

Those who want to grab Accounting 2 Autumn Lecture and Tutorial Notes (if you want to look at them before Spring stuff comes out?) should do so now. They will probably be deleted from UTSOnline soon.

First class is a Wednesday :p

But I've got orientation and work for the rest of the week so basically it's not really a holiday :(I want another week.

I think a couple of us decided to let the thread float.

Yeh, I asked this a while back and people decided it was best left to float. I think there's too many stickies anyways, so this thread probably stands out more as a non-sticky since there is usually at least a few posts everyday keeping it near the top. I unstuck the Course Overviews thread because its way over-dated and Huratio's new thread is better. Thanks!

Re: The UTS 'Secks and We still have holidays!' Thread

I remember in good old first year before the days of MSA when we weren't enrolled into specific classes before the start of semester (well for IT anyways). We were either allocated by the lecturer or we put our names down for a class in the first lecture (which meant a mad rush at the end of the lecture to grab the sheets of paper, haha). I also remember having to wait in line for almost 3 hours to do a manual enrolment for 2nd year uni. Times have changed since then! I feel old now =\

Dont worry Jase. I experienced that as well when i first started in 2004. I think i may have been the last year. So much for the university of TECHNOLOGY (A joke every accountant/Financer has to say about UTS after a few years of being there). Its come a long way since.

:)

Musk posted this a while ago:

Still a long time away.

Apparently AIT has some J2EE book thing. I hope it's not expensive or I can get it second hand :(

You guys are so prepared :p I almost never buy my textbooks until the semester starts just to be sure it hasn't changed.

I should be okay this semester however. One subject uses a textbook I used last semester, another subject is one I 'skipped' so most people in my course have done it already so I can probably get it off them, and the other 2 I have no idea but they're IT subjects to bleh to them.
