I got through but why the fuck did enrolment have to be a Tuesday? :/

Oh well, I can cancel my specialist's appointment for that week I guess.
Didn't you have the chance to choose your preferred day? Maybe it's different for different courses. My enrollment day is on the 1st of Feb which is a Friday..

Hi

Ummm... I got an offer to B Business @ UTS except I'm in America does anyone know how i can accept my offer?
Accept it online at http://start.uts.edu.au, and when you get to the page fill out the form to get someone to enrol for you by proxy.

Someone you nominate can enrol for you on the day (the latest is 21st of feb from what I hear, incase you aren't back by then) if they have that form and photo id.

also does anyone know when the closing date for accepting the offer?
No idea, just accept it now, it took me about 10 minutes.

But I was taking care to put the same dates down as my friend so I wouldn't be alone when I enrolled.

tbh I wouldn't have taken it. You could always do a 1st year transfer I guess.

UTS Gym is pretty good (although its the only gym ive actually been to so I cant compare to anything else), Its got plenty of treadmills, excercise bikes etc and heaps of weights. Dunno what else to say about it.

Registered for the mathematics bridging course yesterday, as well as sorting out all my stuff with the Special Needs unit.

This will be interesting, given I haven't done any maths since year 10 in 2002...

Also, union membership is open from 1st of February, apparently.

They have group classes too:
http://www.utsunion.uts.edu.au/sport/fitness/class/aerobics.html

I used to go... but I've been too busy/lazy to go recently. Facilities are pretty new, and they are always improving it (I remember a stretch area was made when I was there). The prices for UTS students/alumni are cheaper than the general prices you will get at Fitness First etc.

Geezus who works at UTS?

They uploaded my new study plan and its missing several core subjects and so I can't really enroll properly.

Tried to get help off service desk and no help at al, blunt replies. How do I complain to someone higher.

Try ringing up the student centre, rather than using the online service desk.
