Do you know, back in olden times, women used to get "hysteria" which often actually was a build up of sexual tension.... so they used to go to their doctors, and the doctors would masturbate them using a vibrator type device.

I think there is still the remnants of these sorts of ideas about how wrong it is for women to have any sexual pleasure.

We've already explained the reason for that several times. It's easier for a girl to get sex than for a guy, so the guy has the sense of conquest about it whereas the female doesn't.

Well... interesting topic. I enjoy sex immensly, and I masturbate regularly [shock horror - have done for a long time] and I really don't care about admitting it, because I'm comfortable with the knowledge and I know most guys AND girls also do it. Whether they choose to admit it or not is purely their own business, but I think that if you are so close minded about such issues, and view something like masturbation as not natural and healthy, but wrong and shameful, then you have a lot of psychological issues that need to be resolved, otherwise I'm afraid you are unlikey to enjoy sex because if you are not comfortable with your own body, it muct be very hard to become comfortable with someone elses.

I've never been ashamed of talking about masturbation personally, but I thought my friends were so I never used to bring it up with them. Then one day we had a really really honest and open conversation about it, and it reinforced my opinion that 99% of girls who say they've never done it are liars.
