Hey I have never reached a quota of above 10% even for my hotmail account after they've upgraded it from 2MB to like 200 or something, so I have no need of gMail.

I've got 50 gmail invites.
1 GB is huge. I never even go above a few megs... I mostly use my email just for registration confirmation to things.

big users easily get to 1gig. If they give you the space people will find a way to use it.

btw, everyone is given 50 invites.
