Going to MQ from SIBT this feb. pls help. (1 Viewer)

I've just completed diploma of commerce at SIBT, and transfering to mq this semester.

i searched and had a look at many posts about 200level accounting units, as i'll be studying accounting at mq. and i read some people saying, "this unit is harder in the first half but easier in the second." is this always the case for some accg units?

Also, I'm thinking about doing-

FIRST SEM
ACCG 200
ACCG 201 or 251
BUSL 250

SECOND SEM

ACCG 253
ACCG 251 or 201
????? ???

do you guys think this is a good combination of units? please help me as i just finished 100 level at sibt and know very little about 200level units at mq...thanks in advance..

It has programmes designed for SIBT diploma graduates entering Mq degrees.

Don't know about your first question, but ACCG253 in second sem is usually done by all the actuarial students, but in my opinion they shouldn't make a difference at all, it's all about your performance.

Actually the ACST students do it in first semester.

But it shouldnt really make a difference siince lots of other people do 253 in first semester.

oh yeh that's right...i borrowed one of their notes,books etc. I did it in first sem too...

One of the worst units ever, hated the tutor...
