Insurance? No. What usually happens is before you go on the field, you sign away any right to take action against the place if you're injured, beit from your own fault, or from negligence and breach of conduct from the operators. It's basically signing all rights away so you can't sue for anything.
Yesterday I saw no less than 3 people being carted into cars with ice packs injuries to knees, ankles etc. And with the gradient and terrain of some of the courses, combined with a steamy face mask and adrenalin, I could fully understand that they would probably average 3-5 injuries per half day session.
