Im currently in year 10 and im about to pick my subjects, im considering doing extension and in the syllabus it sounds alright but i was just wondering what you guys who do it now think of it? hard/easy? straining? is it easy to keep up with other work and do extension? etc..

as with most FAQ questions, there are numerous threads on this. if you love having a deeper and more interesting insight into texts, do it.
if advanced was a weetbix+vegemite blended into a sludge, extension would be a fucking awesome smoothie with marshmallows and shit on top

If you enjoy literature, or textual desconstruction, then its great. If your into creative writing, it provides you with greater language skills, and gives you the opportunity to pick EX, which is based on a major creative work. Overall, its a good course.
