for those who read RSS feeds, this provides an interface to search for popular feeds and a way to read them (using a nice AJAX web interface).

My guess is it ranks the feeds from the number of links to it and the number of subscriptions it detects from google sidebar.

Seems good so far, haven't played with it much though.

Note the shortcuts:

Keyboard shortcuts: j - next, k - prev, n - page down, p - page up, h - top, r - refresh, s - star

Safari's "Reader" is like FF's inbuilt toolbar (Safari is the browser of choice for MacOSX). It exceeds FF's reader, in my opinion, as it shows you what you have already read, and what is new.

no.... not quite. (there is a mac version of firefox)

the safari reader is much much better than the firefox equiv.
