Got stuck in the uts lift for an hour (1 Viewer)

Talk about ancient tower 1 uts should really update this ugly piece of crap heres my story

The lift kept jumping every 3 seconds everybody decided to get out on the next level,but me and this other guy decided to stay thats when the lift started jumping more(butterfly feeling every second).The doors wouldnt open either if they did all we saw was cement.And we sat there for about 70 mins holding the stop button trapped on the 17 th floor waiting for the lift guys to fix the lift so we could get out

I got off on the 11 th floor after waiting for the lift guys to fix the lift and ran my way up to 19th floor to go to class(i didn't want to catch the lift lol)

what happened to me yesterday was both my lecture and prac were cancelled and i forgot to check uts online, but i used my time to get textbooks and such...hell i even slept in this morning and should be at a lecture in about 20 minutes

I'm so glad I have no classes in the tower building. Shiny and new lifts in Bldg 4 for me!! Although iweirds me out how they're tiled... =S

The stairway was blocked off one day a while back so i had to use the lift. not going in it again though.

Middle stairway has been blocked off for years past Level 3. You need to use the stairs at the front.

Then perhaps the majority of them would be escorted from the building considering I'm pretty sure UTS has a maximum 30'000 students and that's spread over like 3 campuses. But I could be wrong.

There are a bunch of different buildings for the faculties, therefore, even if there were these million people you speak of, they wouldn't all be going in the same lift and/or building.

On Monday I had to climb out of one of the lifts because the lift didn't align with the floor. The door opened halfway and the floor of the lift was a metre below the floor of the building.
The lifts are wierd in the tower building. There are signs saying that some of the lifts stop on only even floors, stop on level 7, but cannot stop on levels 28, 30 or 32. The fire stairs are strange as well. There is no door on level seven! In some of the other buildings the doors have been locked.

i think it is bcoz lvl 7,8 and 28 have some machinery stuff bcoz we went exporing and when we went to 28 via stairs we hear all these machines. it sounded weird

apparently you can fit 46 people in a uts lift. i call bs; it's crowded as after tutes when it's just the one 24 people class

Hmm that's freaky >.<. I'm glad I don't have classes in Building 1 or 2. Well I got a lecture in Level 3 of Building 2, but I think I'll just take the back stairs next time, lol.
