I'm having a bit of trouble with my speech and I was wondering if anyone might suggest a few ideas I could use? Basically what I'm supposed to do is state how and why Dracula is a Gothic Text (I have stuff that already) and I am supposed to select an item (it's supposed to be tangible and real) that can be paralleled to Dracula.
And example could be a pencil case, and one would talk about how each object in a pencil case is related to Dracula. Ie, the pencil can be paralleled to the stake which is used to drive through Lucy's heart.
I'm actually stuck on thinking of an object, so I'm wondering if anyone could help me with that?

Fire is always a good one but you should be able to twist anything to prove your point. Whatever you do don't use a rose because everyone does.
