As most vista gamers and tech-heads have no doubt discovered. Our new OS, Vista, seems to have removed from us the ability to overclock our nVidia (don't know about ATI) Graphics cards.
So has anyone found a way to pull it off?

I swear, it does some odd things. In the nvidia controll panel, i hit the auto overclock, and it sets the GPU on my 6600 to 285 (the stock speed is 300).

The Nvidia control panel is still a bit crap with vista. Have a look around for ATITool, it should run both ATI and Nvidia cards.
