Grade 3 AMEB Online Exam (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

I'm just wanting to know if anyone else has done the AMEB grade 3 online exam? I don't know what I'm doing wrong in the creative rhythm section. I have consulted all my books and notes and I can't seem to get higher than a 7/8 on it. I'm starting to wonder whether I'm not using the program properly, or whether I'm just a complete numpty.

At the moment I'm just doing the practice tests.

I would really love some advice

So I'll just use one of the couplets for an example

Here is a child who clambers and scrambles
All by himself and gathering brambles.

I chose 6/8 time for this one. I went right back to basics and started doing just quavers, nothing dotted. But added in crotchets in at the forth beat where required so the bar would have the right value. I've hyphenated words with more than one syllable, and put slurs on notes to indicate one word. I've put in the bar lines and double bar line to end. I'm stumped.
