is ne1 thinking about doin graduate medicine at sydney uni?

waht degree r u ppl planning to do as a undergrad ?

what would be good for grad med??

Lotta ppl r gonna pick med sci but i wanna do somethin different coz they also like to see ppl with other interests.

B Science (Advanced) or B Molecular Biology and Genetics

what dyu pll think??

wat r u plaling to do and dyu think ull get in or think will mayb get in and just select degrees that could use even if u dont get in???

i was thinking of post grad dentistry...
i wanna be a dentist but to get it as undergrad..i'd have to go interstate :chaainsaw: sooo pisyy.. but either dentirtsy or medicine would be good too

yeh, even more than undergrad med really.

As for which, all at Sydney.

BA (Sociology and Psychology majors), hopefully with hons year.

i really like med sci but wanna do somethin else eg. molecular bio and genetics or just sci/adv. sci and decide wat to major in later

yes, it is the least favourite of all my USyd possibilities, I should also add in BPsych.

You could do farm management if you wanted, they don't care. As long as you do WELL in farm management (and the GAMSAT) you've at least got an interview.

i might consider Bscience majoring in a maths related course or Bscience(nutrition).. then do psot grad medecine.. i dont want to become a gp or a surgeon, maybe a paedetrition...

im doing Banimal science or even Bmedical science, then tranfer to medicine or even dentistry after 4 eyars ... hope i get in.

for grad entry they look at grade point average for undergrad course but hot do they differentiate between difficulty of courses??

eg. one applicant has done law with a lower GPA and another has done arts with a relatively higher GPA, both get same GAMSAT scores. Who gets the interview?
