Wishing I was still at uni. Just been working and trying to enjoy what little work hasn't squeezed out of my life. :)

and yeh the salary will increase dramatically once you become CA qualified..

your salary will remain the same CA or not, at every level (unfortunately)

Though its pretty safe to say that you can't reach certain grades (and certain salaries) without qualification...

At my firm anyway there's more or less a bottleneck of senior accountants that are ready to be promoted to manager but are required to finish their CA (and essentially get promoted soon after they've qualified)..

Still sucks versus say the UK, where AFAIK they get a bit of a fat bonus for qualifying.

good mate, welcome aboard

enjoy drinks at the argyle? I was there doing the hardsell on assurance - TCE kids that hadn't signed the contract yet...managed to convince at least one (or so they promised..!)

Twas great thanks, the people were friendly and the drinks were flowing- what more could one ask for?

Hehe I sent off my contract last Thursday so that was pretty sweet.
