this is from the simpsons it kinda sums up what i think of the grammys

Bellboy: Here's your champagne, Mr Simpson.
Homer: Thanks...(hunts in pockets for tip. Hands bellboy Grammy)here.
Bellboy: Gee, thanks! Oh, it's only a Grammy.
(Bellboy throws it off balcony. Homer looks down)
Random guy: Hey!
(Random guy throws it back at Homer. It knocks him out in the process)

the farce that the grammys is will be shown to all when kanye west fails to win any of the 10 grammys he is nominated for and instead some bad country twanger or mediocre pop 'singer' brings home the bacon

I don't care much for the Grammys...nor these "new amazing talents" who wouldn't last a decade.

i don't think anyone's screening them. i don't care anyway. jamie cullum is set to perform but only in the pre-telecast section so i won't even see him and he loses his category anyway *grumbles*. he lost to nancy wilson, whoever that is.

and yes, the grammys are not the best measure of musical talent. (jamie lost, i don't believe it...)
