I saw a damn cool mirrored Ibanez Jem in the store the other day. At least I think that's what it was, I couldn't tell very well as it was in a glassed-off room.

Pretty awesome, though.

i go through huge guitar phases though. atm its ibanez/esp/jackson style strats with the sharp edges... before this it was explorers...

why have you chosen a yamaha pacifica out of interest?

Looks shite, but you cant get a better guitar for the money, it even competes with guitars twice its price according to people who have been playing for years

ha save like $200-300 more and buy something decent. epiphones, ibanez rgs even (forgive me gods of metal..) cheap mexican fenders are good... if you save a little bit more money you will be so much better off..

anyway, you should seriously think about spending a little more, if its only 200-300 bucks more why not spend it? at least ur guitar will have some longevity, yamahas are ultimatley, a piece of shit. ive been avoiding saying it so directly, but sorry its true.

save the extra money buy somethign better and you will at least still be happy to play it in a few years when you know better....

i know its ur first guitar but still, doesnt mean u should throw ur money away...
