Gym at Cumbo (1 Viewer)

Hey, just wondering what the gym at Cumbo is like. I was thinking of joining coz i am incredibly unfit atm, and $160/semester is pretty good compared to the prices of other gyms. Any thoughts or opinions on the quality of the gym at Cumbo?

gym at cumbo is a pretty good deal.

and if you sign up in the first week it's only $100 for the semester.

it doesnt have a lot of stuff there though...
like, 6 treadmills, 5 exercise bikes but they're mostly broken.
quite a lot of weights.
and a few other machines like an erg.

the guys that run it are really nice though and they'll let you go up and have a look around before you decide whether to become a member or not.

um, hard to say about the bikes...
and no theres no pool. haha, theres a basketball court and some tennis courts though.
and homebush aquatic centre's pretty close

Ohh so there IS a gym at Cumbo? Because I was thinking of transferring to Cumbo but was informed that there wasn't a gym there and I practically live in the one on the main campus...

Does joining USyd Sports include membership at the Cumberland gym ?

Or only the ones around main campus?

i havent stepped foot in that place yet...maybe this year (my last) is the year to start ... at least know what my union fees were going to

nah cumbo gym is separate. and the price went up last year to $120 for the semester of membership at cumbo gym.
