how you calculate [H+] ion concentration if you are given a pH. Eg. what is the [H+] when the pH is 4.63?

you're right

you press the +/- button before u type the pH
(actually on some calculators it wont matter)

calculating the pH also depends on whether the substance is monoprotic, diprotic or polyprotic. make sure you know and use that, because then the pH will be wrong.

and it has to be a strong acid for the calculation to be correct
