You guys seen how much the UAI cut offs for courses at UNCLE have dropped?

Nobody wants to go to Newcastle because it's fucking shit!

I wonder if the Uni will get their fucking act together now...

I noticed that. Last year there were 12 courses with a cutoff over 90, now there are 3. Strange.

that is correct. demand has stayed the same but places have increased. however i agree with cyph that they have dropped so much in some cases that it is ridiculous. must have been that shit house tv ad they made.

haha i think mine has actually gone UP by 3.35 (but that is over 3 years though hahah)..and it's still really low :p

my course, B. Communications, is usually around 90ish UAI cutoff, but surprisingly this year it was 78.15.... i was really pissed off that it was lowered so much coz essentially i put so much useless energy into getting high marks through school and the hsc haha

Well since 2005 UAI my course has droped from about 74 to about 64 (HECS) and 60 (FEE)

yeah i read on the newcastle site that they offered another 2000 places or something. offers went from 6 thousand and somethign last year to 8 thousand and something this year.

ha ha yeah i have a friend who had a uai of 56 and got into nursing. with the four extra points.

im glad that law uai went down tho to 91.45 seeing as i got 92.
