it doesnt help knowing everything in modern. it helps being able to relate what you know to the question in a sophisticated manner

did the half yealies in the last two weeks of term 1.....i had 5 tests.....all of which consisted of at least one essay on top all the other short answer questions...my hand hurt after the whole ordeal....hated it when teachers gave you five pieces of paper......it sorta implied that they wanted you to fill them up

essays is all...
i have 2 do the prelim 2yu exam... i have already done the 2u hsc halfyearly... it is so easy i dont need 2 studi 4 it...
n 3u is similar 2 the shit where doin now... we r graphing limits, n i have learnt calcus so it so much easyer... the rest is just aboslut value eqation ect (hard 2u stuff lol)
physic chem n bio i need 2 studi... there all extended responces not essays [i can right them in point form :)]
our english exam is a speech...
n then i think there is a second part... i think we do it like the hsc, we have a common test which all of genral n adv do n then the speech (which we only write) is our adv test while genral is doin some sort of role play.
n rel exam i think we've done (i dunno if the rel exam we did is our half yearly or not)
but i dont care bout rel

some schools dont have half yearlies, like my old school. which was really crap because everyone did so badly in the yearlies because of the lack of exam techniques. but if your teacher hasnt told you by now you have half yearlies, then you dont have any :) term 3 exams are your yearlies :)

I guess we don't have half yearlies for year 11, which is fine by me, I have enough yr 12 shit to busy me with. :p
