of course my real results were way better than that, anyone can falsify their resultsShotgun Wedding said:They weren't your real results.
Depends on the school, I guess. There's no set rules as far as I know.yoakim said:Yeah this is a bit "out of topic" but it still relates to the Half-Yearlies...does any body have a reason as to why North SYdney Boy's high only started their Half-Yearly exams on tuesday?
What instrument do you play?Fish Sauce said:Depends on the school, I guess. There's no set rules as far as I know.
Got my report marks today:
Maths - 92 (= 1st)
Maths Ext - 73 (9th, I think)
English - 75 (Above the median by 4, at least. lol)
Chemistry - 82 (by my estimate 4th, could be lower though)
Business Studies - 91 (= 2nd)
SDD - 75 (2nd)
Music - 90 (1st/2nd, not sure)
Need to beef up English and Software, otherwise pretty happy. Just hope my Music doesn't slip (although if it does I suppose it just won't get counted).
I must say though, I have no idea how a lot of these marks were worked out. I won't argue though, they give me above 90 on SAM

Yeah. What styles d you play on guitar mainly?Fish Sauce said:Guitar and tenor saxophone, a bit of bass too I guess. You play guitar right?
Mainly rock I guess, I can play a bit of classical but not a heap. Would like to learn some jazz but having a bit of trouble finding a place to start. You?bringbackshred said:Yeah. What styles d you play on guitar mainly?
Mainly metal, but I love learning other genres, even though I am better at metal. I'm really into jazzy chord progressions at the moment.Fish Sauce said:Mainly rock I guess, I can play a bit of classical but not a heap. Ah okay, cool. I don't mind playing a bit of metal, but I prefer bluesy rock kind of stuff.bringbackshred said:Mainly metal, but I love learning other genres, even though I am better at metal. I'm really into jazzy chord progressions at the moment.
As much as I would love to stay and chat, I ahve to get up at 6:30. Stupid living 4 hours from sydney business. I bid you farewell, my friend.
Software? 2nd place looks pretty good to me Should be beefing up Ext Maths before software. :uhhuh:Fish Sauce said:Depends on the school, I guess. There's no set rules as far as I know.

True. I guess I'm mostly happy with that because it's higher than expected and more than half the people doing 3 unit do 4 unit. Plus I'm worried about my Software Project knocking me down a fewLegham said:Software? 2nd place looks pretty good to me Should be beefing up Ext Maths before software. :uhhuh:
I agree. 1st is better though.Legham said:Ahh yeah. Fair enough. 9th is pretty good when you have to compete against the extension 2 people!
lol, true. Can't make that though.SoulSearcher said:I agree. 1st is better though.
