mine starts on 31st may though i'm only doing exams for maths, chem and legal, a research task for SOR 2 and an IPT project one week after assessment week. a shame we didn't get any practice papers yet but luckily there's a study-only week before that so it betta be good. i need an examination table too!

Heh. We don't have half yearlies - we have assessments. Constant, stressful assessments. Sometimes I wish we'd have an exam block and get it over and done with.

Fuck me, your sig just reminded me that I have work to do on Yeats, and here it is and it's 11.30

We don't have half yearlies. We had a block of assessment tasks due in the last 3 weeks of last term, now I have one on friday + next thursday/friday for drama, week 5 for legal, week 6 is vive voce for ext2 and my mrp for ancient is due, week 7 my mrp for modern is due and week 8 my writing portfolio for ext1 is due
like you said, painful painful : (

Hah! Good luck ;)

Yeah, yours sounds a bit like mine, except we have assessments all through the term.

I love the poem in your sig, I read it thru properly in English today and went really loudly, 'ohhhhhhh!', because there's an Angel episode called Slouching Towards Bethlehem, so I just got the reference. My teacher knew exactly what ohhh was about. ; )

Funny, because I don't watch Angel (nor Buffy, for that matter) - but yeah, it's a wonderful poem. I only ever use the first half, however.

I prefer the first half, because it's a bit more generalised, whereas the second half is very specific
