Shit can't believe I failed this. I got 5/5 for the short answer... screw MC. Thank God I HDed the 1st mid-sem otherwise...

Heheh I screwed up MC so badly though... the result of not studying -broadly- enough. Can't believe they're worth 20% each though, compared to other assignments/assessments it should be more like 10%.

i think you'll find these people complaining more fell into the 'lack of knowledge' category (with respect) rather than the 'couldn't choose between two ambigious answers'.


Although I'm all for less multiple choice and more written answers.


After all, if ECMT has taught me anything, it's that even if I don't know anything about the subject i have an expected value of 25%

yeh... me thinks u need to satisfactorily complete all compoents (including final exam) and attain an aggregated 50% ...

i think they mean that you have to complete every assessment. THen the average of all ure ass marks must be over 50%
i.e.
20/40 midterm
5/20 essay
25/40 final
allows you to pass as you get 50/100 average

no way. You just need to attempt all the exams and get 50% overall. thats why people always talk about "making up for the last exam etc etc"

far out..i failed , stream4's av always very low.. this time 2nd part we only have 2.2 out of 10 for average...so crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!have to do well in the final!
