watched it today and overall it was good....maybe not the best out of three but still good......is aunt marge the woman from matilda - the one that plays trunchball? She looks the part....
And the movie was darker than the previous ones....the colours reminded me of 'Sleepy hollow'

I thought it was a refreshing change from the stereotypical beefy, hairy thing wearing ripped pants.

yeh...but shouldnt it at least somehow resemble a wolf??

what about wormtale? When he transformed back into a human, he had clothes on right? Then when he transformed back into a rat...his clothes were left...does this mean he grows a next set of clothes everytime he transforms into a human??

a special feature in most of Alfonso Cuarón's films, is that he trys not to apply the stereotypical view of something into the film, even though i wanted reamus to look something like a wolf, i can understand why its like that ...

was alfonso the director of Yu Yu tubien or something like that*

I think the film was too short, abrupt at parts and cut out heaps from the book

I am so sad for Lupin...there was this moment when he was transformed that he looked so human and sad....

On another note, how funny was it when that happy bluebird flew into the Whomping Willow and got pulverised into millions of fluffy feathers? It just keeps on getting funnier and funnier.

you do realise you are questioning the logic of clothes when the guy is able to turn himself into a rat?

i just saw it again, and this was my favourite shot of the movie. just as the moon rises and the camera zooms into his eye, and pulls out again. the colour of the entire frame with lupin's bloodshot eyes was orgasmic

ah yes ..that was an amazing scene- glad they put that in there rather than just "run... run away" sorta scenario :)

yea ur right ... he directed "Y tu mamá también"

and another feature of his films is that he likes to keep them short ...

and he always makes his actors/actresses write essays on their parts so they can have a deeper understanding of their role ... thats why his films are so good.. ...

:( ... i feel the pain heh ... I really wanted to see more of him - hence why I wanted the 'fake dementor scene' ..
