Has anyone heard of Philip K. Dick?
His stories were adapted into well known movies such as Blade Runner, Minority Report, Total Recall, Paycheck and most recently A Scanner Darkly, though none of his books were faithfully adapted and only took action elements. A scanner Darkly looks promising though.
Dick was a humanist writer and his stories were moral concerning existence. Has anyone read any of his stuff? I love them.

. Personally though I'm not a big sci-fi fan so I've never ventured beyond Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. A Scanner Darkly does look amazing though doesn't it? For once this year the Best Animated category at the Oscars is going to be tight: Madagascar, Robots, Wallace and Gromit Movie, Corpse Bride AND A Scanner Darkly.. great year for animated films.
