oh right. yeah i suppose that's what i meant. I got a direct offer too (from Macquarie) and i posted the thread cos i wasn't sure if any other universities have sent any early offers yet. Congrats on your offer btw!

when does the offer expire?
if you accept it now, and then remove it from your preferences in order to increase your chances of another offer, is the offer still there?
