An intro into Japanese, but it was something which took up too much time i didn't have, so i didn't continue past first sem/first year.

I did an intro to french in my first semester and it was way harder than I'd expected.. but for some reason that didn't make me work any harder so it got me my first (and hopefully only) PC. It was an experiment on my part that didn't work out, heh.

Bah, I need to do German for Reading Purposes. Yuck. German. Ew...

I'll tell you how it goes when I get onto it.

A few of my friends are doing Japanese, and it looks like a fair amount of work. If you're interested in German or French, do the 'for Reading Purposes' units first -- they're easy and straight forward, and if you like it, you can do the 'proper' unit at the introduction level. Ie, you'll be more well equipped.
