Our text book said that Australia had one of the highest incidences of heart disease yet one of the lowest incidences of stroke worldwide. Is this info true? It's hard to believe considerering both are caused by atherosclerosis. If it is true then why do Australians have a tendency to have a heart attack and not a stroke?
