In the UOW handbook, it quotes HECS fees for all courses. Mine is $8400 or something similar, per SESSION. Does this refer to per semester (ie. $16,000 a year) or is a session a full year?
i dun think i'll have the money to pay all upfront....but can u pay small amounts over a long period of time....or do u have to choose from one of the 3 options??
btw- wat if u never get a job that gets u the minimum amount of money in order to pay off all of ur hecs fees after u finish uni?
Ok...you can pay upfront or defer. If you don't have the money to pay upfront, you have no choice but to defer.
If you never reach the threshold, you never have to pay the money back. But the threshold is so low you'd have a pretty shitty life if you didn't reach it!
im not paying any upfront, deferring it all, but once i graduate i'll be WAY over the threshold, and im planning on paying more than i need to (voluntary contributions i think its called) to reduce my debt quicker
