Yo. I just changed my degree from Commerce/Science to just straight Commerce and now myUNSW is telling me that I owe the uni over $3000 and that I have to submit some HECS-HELP form!

Does anyone know if you actually have to resubmit your HECS stuff every time you change degrees or is this some kind of mistake (oh god please let it be so)?

You can just change to 'deferred.' It probably means you have to submit the form again that shows whether you are paying upfront or not.

Ah it's done. $0 owed and I didn't even have to pay the union fee. Yay for enrolling after the cutoff date!

Lol, no fair! I did the same thing as you but I still paid the damn union fees. Just out of curiosity, were they ever listed as a liability in the my student section?

hoojoo, did you change programs using the orange form from the FCE centre at uni? Also, just had a look at the Fee Statements section in Myunsw, it seems to have one for Comm/Sci, and one for Comm; both for Semester 2...I'm hoping there's something similar on yours....? Would rather not be charged twice for the same subjects

I have two fee statements for semester two as well. Apparently the admin is having a problem not knowing how to delete the statments - just pay your most recent statement is my advice.
