Id never tell someone what does and what does not work in relationship since everyone is unique, but Id be really careful with a work relationship, especially if you are in a small store. I used to work in a cafe/deli that had 3-6 people working at a time (meaning you had no personal space) and I went out with one of the girls who worked there. It sucked while we were going out because everyone would gossip about it at work and it was even worse after we broke up.
