i've just recently installed window XP....

and it came to my concern when i CANT view animated gif files with IE.....


like the avators for example... some avators are meant to animate... but for me it's just on still pic...

is there an option that i can check/tick


thanks in advance.....

check out this site and may help u
Animated GIFs are not affected by firewalls. They are downloaded like any other file, and played locally.

Try:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> scroll down to Multimedia, check "Play animations in webpages"

no no.. it was zonealarm......:mad1:

yeah the animations were blocked by default...
