I need some help to make a decision on subjects for year 11/12. At the moment i have decided on:
- english (obviosly)
- maths
- maths extension
- software design
- physics

I was planning on doing chemistry but i am unable to that combination at my school. I have to choose from biology and "info tech". I am planning to get a carrer in science speciallising in physics. This brings me to my problem. I don't particularly like biology and i think i would get good marks in "info tech" but i'm not sure if i'll need to do two sciences to get into a science course at university.

Thanks for any advice.

it might be handy to pick bio, but really i think you should go with your strengths. i think that since you're doing software you must be pretty handy with computers...pick i.t.

Have you considered doing a distance education course for chemistry? You could use the advice of your Chemistry teachers during the course to assist you if you may require help.

Also, talk to the head teachers or teachers involving with the subject lines, and see if they approve of it.
