What's the problem? Is it that your english is not so good, or you just suck at the subject? (Because there are different ways to approach the problem depending on what it is)

yes. i see. :)

Perhaps you could try reading some more books.. eventually your mind should start thinking in that sort of way, and thus your expression will improve??

not sure if thats correct, but you could try.
and also, dont fall into the trap of thinking that using big, overly technical words will help.
More often than not, they'reused in the wrong context and sound pathetic.

Answer me, damnit!!!

um..... reading your post again... sounds like maybe your english could do with improvement: ie.
"All my test comment stated that i got alot expression error!!"
should be " All my test comments stated that I got a lot of expression errors."

Is it you grammar that your teachers are worried about, or the words and phrases you use? maybe submit a practice essay to your teacher and ask them to go through the problems in your expression with you.

My friend ZJ, she's been in Australia for like, 6 years, and her english is really good but grammar is... really really weird. Maybe if this is your case, get your friends to correct you when you make mistakes. It's seriously one of the best ways to learn. Also get really good vocabulary. There are some good english textbooks you can get that really help with your writing style and expression... don't get the excel ones. they actually really suck for english.

Expression generally refers to use of language. Perhaps you are not expressing your point correctly or you are the using the wrong words to express your ideas. This could also mean too many basic spelling, grammar and punctuation errors which diminish the quality and strength of the repsonse if there are enough of them.
To improve, I suggest you do more wide reading (especially news articles, as they express ideas very clearly and nothing 'should' be implied), writing and speaking in english on a daily basis.

Or rather,

well maybe exam conditions are different from practice conditions, so there!

i had to agree the excel hsc standard english books don't bear much fruit.
i'd expect an english extension student to use a better word than "suck"
let's use the word "bitch" in our essays now, instead of "shrew".
