The reason for why this post is restricted to 98.0+ is that I believe these people are either naturally VERY talented or have extremely smart and dedicated approaches to achieve the goal, could you share how did you achieve an ATAR of 98.00+? What are the most important factors that maintained your motivation to achieve 98.00+?

For me personally, it was focusing on the important things as the year went in order to maximise both my internal rank and my external marks. Would've easily gotten 99+ if english didn't fuck me up but ah well.
Anyway my advice would probably be to get into a habit of studying consistently throughout year 11 so that you can continue it in year 12. Also, if there is one key to getting a high atar, it'd be doing unlimited past papers. It helps you SO MUCH.
